Remembering Pearl Harbor
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. (retired) Joseph S. Pesek, tacks chief master sergeant stripes onto his grandaughter Chief Master Sgt. Amanda J. Stift in 2015. Stift is the 403rd Wing command chief master sergeant and shares her grandfather's account of Dec. 7, 1941. Pesek is a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Forces and U.S. Air Force.
