ALC Completes Mods for F-35A IOC
Lt. Col. Kevin "Sonar" Hall, 514th Flight Test Squadron, prepares to test fly the twelfth, 388th Fighter Wing, F-35A Lightning II aircraft needed to declare initial operational capability (IOC) depot and unit-level modifications were completed June 30, 2016 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. During the flight he ensured the modifications were corrected to an overpressure condition in the fuel system during elevated G-maneuvers and fuel migration between internal fuel tanks.
