ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Memorial services for Maj. Aaron “Amber” Frey, a test pilot assigned to the 370th Flight Test Squadron out of Edwards Air Force Base, California, are planned for Friday, July 16 at Edwards AFB.
Frey, 42, from Evergreen, Colorado, died from injuries sustained from an off-base traffic accident July 5, 2021. He served 16 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and one year in the Air Force Reserve.
In addition to the 370th FLTS, Frey also served as an F-16 test pilot instructor for the Air Force Test Pilot School and an F-35 test pilot for the 461st FLTS at Edwards.
Frey is survived by his wife and two children.
