U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jahara Brown, one of the Air Force’s 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year for 2019, recently got the opportunity to fly in an F-15E Strike Eagle with the 339th Flight Test Squadron. Brown is the 78th Security Forces Squadron superintendent of plans and programs out of Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, with nearly 20 years of service. The 339th FLTS is part of Air Force Reserve Command’s 413th Flight Test Group and is responsible for conducting functional check flights on F-15s, C-130s, C-5s and E-8s once programmed depot maintenance is completed.
